Lots of one-on-one and group experience with people with special needs. Wide age range, from 9 to 21 years old, and a wide range of disabilities and levels of severity.
What I wish was different
More communication between Reliant Services and staff. Staffed were not well-informed about the history and needs of some severe clients.
Advice
Sign a contract with the company about pay rates, mileage reimbursement, etc that are different from the respite care position so there are no miscommunications.
