All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though I had never had industry experience my coworkers were able to help me understand my role. I also was placed on projects that have had a lasting impact on the company and their financial data.
What I wish was different
There were some days with a lot of down time but other than that the internship was awesome!
Advice
Leave the job position better than you found it. When I started as in intern there were many files and reports that were unorganized and confusing. In my downtime at the office I was able to update all of these files that I worked with to make them uniform. Even though it was a very small thing, my employer loved the initiative and the fact that my tasks didn't only get completed but that the position was better than when I started.
