This location has a very laid back approach. I made friends with the other hosts pretty fast making the job more fun.
What I wish was different
All guest complain to the host stand when something is wrong with their food even though the only thing we can do is refer them to the manager. Management dealt with these issues by giving them a free appetizer each time.
Advice
Be prepared to being called within an hour notice because someone did not show up.

I enjoyed my coworkers and the fast-paced shifts. It was hard to get bored and tips were very good.

I wish I had been able to get an internship opportunity, I enjoyed my summer but am anxious to get to see my field instead of working a customer service job.
Advice
If nothing else comes through, serving is a great way to save money throughout the summer. Always keep a smile on your face.

I like the relationships I've made from working here at Outback, and being able to meet different people from many walks of life.
