Being included on a team of individuals from diverse backgrounds (some teaching, law enforcement, and counseling/psych). Hearing everyone’s perspectives and what they bring to our agency was really educational. They made me feel like part of the team and not just the intern.

Find meaning in seemingly insignificant things. Maybe it’s a task you’re doing or maybe it’s a story your client is telling you. Find the meaning and make it important to you.
