Working for Paddle Boston, I loved the ability to be outside and doing hands-on work with other people, building a fun community. I also liked being able to help customers face to face.
What I wish was different
It would have been cool to get out on the water more on the job.
Advice
I would recommend looking for a job you have an interest in, and, if possible, one where a community exists or can be built, as this will make the work more fun.
