What I liked

I get paid well, and the tips and mileage pay are higher than I would have expected.

What I wish was different

Sometimes I wish that the tips aren't displayed on the receipts so that driver's don't take the larger tips on purpose.

What I liked

There is a really good environment in terms of your coworkers and managers. You're given plenty of time and opportunity to learn your position and you are asked directly if you want to learn another one. That is, they don't force you into another role. We also have a discount on food for associates.

What I wish was different

We receive yearly reviews at the location where we have the opportunity for raises if we worked well across the year, but the review was several months late and I believe the raise they gave did not accurately reflect the work I put in.

Advice

Don't be afraid to speak with the managers about different work topics. They are very approachable and generally very helpful.

The managers were kind. Making connections is a significant asset to maintaining a job and working with people I’ve only met at work develops as well as improved your communication skills

I wish I was more open. Considering it was my first job, I was shy. But the more comfortable you get, the better.

By providing customer service, you will learn how to handle disappointment, work efficiently and effectively

The job provided me with a lot of freedom and experience.

They switched to DoorDash so I am now only employed to do in-store work, which I did not enjoy as much as delivering.

Being organized and delivering based upon locations close to one another maximizes efficiency.

The pay could be more than what employees receive because the work load is a lot.

The managers were super great, and I made friends out of my coworkers. They work well with your hours and around your schedule.

We seemed to always be understaffed and struggling to keep up during rush hours.
