What I liked

I enjoyed the diversity of my team and learning so many new things about French culture. I also enjoyed working with customers and creating many relationships with my tables. You never know what the shift was going to bring, and various people from many different backgrounds would also share great stories and experiences.

What I wish was different

I wish the pay out would be different because some days my managers would keep the tips from the night and we wouldn't get paid for weeks later. It was a family business so many family members worked there, which made things hard as well.

Advice

To not let other coworkers personal problems or drama derive you from your tasks. Stay focused on yourself in the workplace, and keep relationships professional.
