Patent Research Intern

June - August 2018 • Ogden, UT

What I liked

Good people and a good salary.

What I wish was different

I wish I had received more training on the PDCflow software. I hardly saw the software at all as I was working on my patent research.

One of the best skills you can develop is to be flexible. As an intern, and now as a "Research Assistant"--I've been hired on now that my internship is over--I have been assigned lots of odds and ends assignments at my job. Being flexible has allowed me to have experiences, some of which have been more meaningful or enjoyable than others, that have given me exposure to different sides of the company I work for and helped me to learn what I do and don't want going forward.
