Peak Sport and Spine

Physical Therapy Intern

August 2020 • Fayette, MO

What I liked

It was close to campus which was very convenient while being a student. The employer was very flexible with hours to fit my class and sports schedule. I was able to experience the behind the scenes work of a physical therapy office.

What I wish was different

I wish I had been able to interact more with patients rather than spending most time behind the front desk.

Advice

Always be eager to learn new skills and take on tasks, even if they may seem daunting at first. Everyone has to start scratch at the beginning before they are a skilled employee.

Physical Therapy Technician

May - August 2019 • Jefferson City, MO

What I liked

The environment was amazing. I loved working with everyone, and the PT's were open to help me learn. Because of that I learned a lot and am excited to go back.

What I wish was different

Nothing, I loved everything about it.

Advice

Observing can be boring, but the more questions you ask the better. Also, interacting with patients is fun and will give someone a better experience.
