Being part of a small company amade my first intern experience less daunting even though I came in with very little experience.
What I wish was different
I learned a lot in my internship but since it was a software internship at a small company, I worked remotely over the summer so I spent lots of hours alone during work.
Advice
Even if you don't get your ideal internship you should still accept one of your less ideal internships to get the professional experience along with any other skills you would learn alongisde your internship.
