Our small boutique winery, nestled on the west hills of the Columbia Gorge AVA, focuses on estate grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; annually producing 5,000 cases total of all our varietals. Vineyard care takes center stage in our wine production. Sustainable agricultural practices combined with careful management of the fruit yields on the vines leads to the noted intensity of our bottlings.
Hanging less grapes adds labor and cost, but there are no shortcuts when the goal is the finest expression of a specific vineyard in the wine. We produce estate grown and critically acclaimed Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and alternative whites. Consistent 90+ scores in Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter and Vinous.
We first planted our oldest vines of Pinot Noir in 1990, shortly adding a block of Dijon clone Chardonnay two years later. Incrementally, we have expanded the vineyards and now nurture 34 acres (25 Acres of Pinot Noir, 7 acres of Chardonnay and 2 acres of Pinot Gris). In addition to our estate fruit, we grow "alternative whites" across the Columbia River, on Underwood Mountain.
We emphasis education to our Sales/Marketing team, expressing that a well educated team will enjoy the nuances of the wine industry with confidence.
