I enjoyed teaching the high school students in two subjects - introductory psychology and neuroscience. It was extremely beneficial to have a mentor to guide us in the program. The entire faculty was extremely supportive of the interns.
What I wish was different
The only thing was that I did not like having to be in a regular dorm with the students, instead of a faculty apartment because we had to share the floor restroom with them.
Advice
Make as many connections as possible! There are so many people working during the summer that work at Exeter and beyond. It is especially beneficial to make a lasting connection with your mentor!
