It's a great experience, the kids will grow very attached to you. If you are a paitent and responsible person this job is great.

What I liked

I loved working with the kids and making unbreaking bonds with them. We become a tight-knit group

What I wish was different

I wish camp was longer. I miss my Pine Grove Family.

Advice

Be willing to participate with the kids. If they see you up and moving with them, they will want to do the same. Also, listen to them. They want to tell you everything about them. If you sit there and listen to them, it will make your bond so much stronger.

That I loved being surrounded by my campers and I got to have fun everyday while being paid for it.

Although it is a fun job, it’s still a job and you have to know how to set boundaries with the kids from the very beginning.
