What I liked

I liked being the first person to interact with customers. We have a lot of activities going on inside the venue from the restaurant, bar, gaming, ballrooms, and private events so I think it is really cool to help navigate and assist people. One of my favorite parts is when we have a big private event like a wedding or two weddings going on at once, and it surprises other guests coming in that we offer more than just bowling or dining. It is such a fun surprise!

What I wish was different

I think all the craziness with the pandemic made it a bit difficult and confusing for a lot of people. I wish it would have been a bit more organized and communicative with how to handle new restrictions at our specific business.

Advice

I think it is a really good option for a part time job. It can be hectic at times, but you learn so much from it and develop good customer service, organization, and communicative skills.

What I liked

I loved being able to travel to different location in Chicago. I was able to be apart of large marketing events including the Hot Dog Festival in the city of Chicago. I was able to practice my communication skills by interacting with people in various festivals and events.
