Pioneer Drive Baptist Church (Abilene, Texas) is a growing multi-generational church situated in the heart of West Texas with more 2,000 members (more than 2,400 enrolled in Sunday school). Founded in 1954, Pioneer Drive cooperates with the Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT) and the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). We are a church with a mission to love God supremely by: loving people unconditionally and sacrificially, reaching people with the good news of Jesus Christ, and helping people become fully devoted followers of Him. Our church offers two venues for worship on Sunday mornings. Our Celebration Service offers worship with a full choir & orchestra, meanwhile the gathering offers worship with a smaller worship team. We offer Sunday morning group Bible study, as well as full pre-school, children, student, college, and young adult ministries both on Sundays and through-out the week. At Pioneer Drive, we believe that our best days are ahead of us and it’s that belief that fuels our people to be honest, hard-working, and sacrificial. We believe that we are here so that others in our neighborhoods, our businesses, our schools, our city, and our region can come to know the love that is found in Jesus Christ.
