About Play Smart Literacy

We are an innovative family engagement and early literacy non-profit serving families living in the most vulnerable areas of Chicago. Our mission is to build language and relationships through play. We believe in big ideas and moving education into everyday moments and public spaces, supporting parents as their child’s first teacher. We are an early childhood and family engagement outreach group.

When I started I was an intern and got a lot of hands on experience in early childhood education through attending play visits with Michelle. There is a so much room for growth within the company and I eventually got moved up to media coordination and then doing some team management tasks. Michelle is an excellent employer to work for.
