What I wish was different
I wish I had a little more direction in terms of my own projects. I was told there would be projects waiting for me, but I had to find my own stuff to take on sometimes.
Advice
Don't be shy about talking with your manager to see if there's something useful you can do.

What I liked
Got to pose my own research interests and was provided with challenging assignments. There was a tremendous work environment as well.
