What I liked

I got to have a lot more hands-on experience with legal work (for example, accompanying attorneys to court appearances) than your typical paralegal. Had I went with a larger law firm, I would not have had some of the opportunities I had, and I am happy I took a risk with a smaller, newer law firm!

Advice

Make sure you give a chance to all types of companies in your field. If you're looking for more of a start-up company, give bigger, older companies a chance too, and vice versa. You never know what you're going to end up liking more!
