What I liked

I love being able to get to know clients and helping them understand the importance of motherhood. I also love working with the staff and other volunteers at this location. Everyone is very passionate about assisting mothers in need and treats everyone who walks in through that door with respect.

What I wish was different

Nothing.

Advice

I would say that you definitely need to join with the right mindset. If you are pro-choice, this job is definitely not for you as this organization does not support abortions or the abortion industry. However, this organization does not endorse hateful behavior and seeks to help everyone who comes in need, so a proper mentality when dealing with clients is necessary in order to help the most people.
