My preceptor was very receptive and allowed me to take any opportunity to enhance my skills as a clinician. I learned a lot from not just him, but the other athletic trainers and physical therapists in the clinic.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have been more confident in what I was doing. I found myself timid when it came time for me to give my opinion on an injury or rehab.
Advice
Don't be afraid to mess up. Making mistakes is how you learn.
