The residents are super friendly and most coworkers are willing to help whenever needed
What I wish was different
I wish the management had been different. Very confusing instructions and overall just late/bad information being given such as mandatory meetings being announce the day of, rule changes and noew policies not thoroughly communicated, and not all staff knowing what's going on therefore not being a resource for others.
Advice
Be a self-starter if you want to work here because you will have to teach yourself everything and be an advocate for yourself and your patients as you will need to stand up for what you need a lot.

What I liked
I love getting to know the people I am serving. They all are willing to have conversations and are very kind. I also enjoy getting to know many of my other coworkers. The schedule was very nice, as the shifts are three hours and I am required to work once a year to keep the position that I hold. This gives a lot of flexibility to my schedule and allows me to spend time doing other things.
What I wish was different
While I enjoyed being around many of my coworkers, a few of them are not easy to work with. Besides that, I am happy with my job.
Advice
I would tell people to be patient with the residents and elderly people in general. Many times, they are not sure what they want and need, and it takes time to help them through it.
