What I liked
The coworkers and relationships I made while working at Pret. Also, the food always tastes natural and delicious.
What I wish was different
The hourly wage was good and was raised a dollar during my time working for the company but a better incentive program for raises in wages per hour would benefit all the employees financially since most worked full time with this as one of two jobs they had for sources of income.
Advice
Do not attempt to work full time morning shifts the early hours throw off the rest of your day.

What I liked
I really enjoyed meeting new people. My store location was right next to the New York Stock Exchange, so the morning and lunch rushes created a fast paced environment.
What I wish was different
If I could change anything about my experience at Pret a Manger this summer, it would be my working schedule. I was only allowed to work for 4 hours initially during my training and gradually worked to 8 hours shifts for the last two weeks of my time there.
Advice
My advice to anyone who is inexperienced in the work force is to be open to any opportunity. I was reluctant to work for Pret a Manger because of higher aspirations, but in the end I realized it was a temporary job that offered a lot of insight for organizational skills.
