I was able to form a relationship with the department team to which I was assigned while also shadowing many other divisions and operations of the agency.
What I wish was different
As a sophomore undergraduate intern, I was the youngest intern in the agency at the time. Interaction with other interns was only during the initial training period.
Advice
The internship does require 15 hours a week, and while you are allowed to come in at 8am and stay until 5pm, there is rarely anyone at the office that early or that late and therefore not much to do.
