Primp Boutique opened in September of 2010 in St. Paul, Minnesota with the vision of creating a high-end boutique experience where everything is under $100. The shop was bustling from the moment we opened the doors and we quickly expanded throughout the Twin Cities and eventually crossed state lines into Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We currently have 6 shop locations filled with thoughtfully curated collections and fully staffed with knowledgeable personal stylists eager to help you find exactly what you’re looking for and more. Everything is still under $100 and the experience is still rooted in thoughtfully serving our customers. We’re also putting out daily new arrivals (yes, daily!) and only offer limited runs of each unique style we carry.

"I’m Wesley, the founder and CEO of Primp Boutique. Primp is a place that you feel encouraged to take a fashion risk and have fun while doing it!
The name “Primp” is inspired by the memories of getting ready with my best girl friends before a night out. I can say with certainty that we made more memories getting ready than we did at whatever event we were getting ready for! We shared clothes, did each other’s make up, turned up the music, and sipped cocktails. We complimented each other, encouraged each other, and shared secrets. What was once a weekly occurrence in college gradually became more and more infrequent as we all grew up, moved away, got married, and had babies. But now, instead of getting ready for a fun night at a college bar, we were getting ready for more important events like weddings, first dates, interviews, family photos, and vacations. I missed my girls and I missed the shared closets, the energy, and the connection.
And that’s when the idea of Primp was born. A shop where we recreate the fun of getting ready with friends. It will never replace the special moments with BFFs but we provide a safe space to try things maybe someone normally wouldn’t, always give an honest opinion, and leave the guest feeling rejuvenated and confident!"
