I liked that I was able to conduct research that was actually useful to my supervisor, and that I learned how manage my time well throughout the process of researching. I also liked that my supervisor often let my work on my own and report my findings, instead of micromanaging each task that I worked to complete.

Interning is an anxious filled time, but it is definitely worth it. I learned so much about myself and gained a lot of independence and confidence from the experience. I also learned that it is okay to ask for help when you're confused because the point of an internship is to gain new knowledge, you will not be perfect at everything you do right away and that's okay.
