If you plan on getting an internship at a nature center don't forget to invest in hiking boots. I know that might seem obvious but you really really don't wanna walk around outside in nice tennis shoes (unless you don't mind them getting dirty) and hiking boots make trekking a lot easier! Also, don't be afraid to ask questions at all! Asking questions doesn't make you seem ignorant or dumb- your employer will appreciate you speaking up when you don't know something, especially if you are in the education field.
