What I liked

Cristina and Jessica introduced me to many new things, which I will use as valuable life lessons and career experience. For example, they helped me manage spreadsheets to keep track of their new and old clients, learn the art of social media managing, and gave me entrepreneurial tips for my own business. Lastly, we maintained a healthy relationship that was open and honest, which created a refreshing and inviting atmosphere.

What I wish was different

I don't regret anything I've done in my life because it wouldn't have led to me the place that I'm at today. But, if I had to choose, I wish my internship did not occur during the COVID-19 pandemic. My fear of germs caused me to be uncomfortable in public places, no matter how sanitized they were, and it made me appear distant as a result. The issue was resolved, but I wish outside circumstances were in my favor during that period.

Advice

Always be open to new ideas and push yourself when things get difficult. I've grown so much and can handle more challenges since I was an intern at Privy Label. For example, I am a perfectionists, but I often made mistakes whilst doing tasks as an intern. I had to realize that I am a human being who is learning something new and was trying my best. Listen, learn, and live through your triumphs and failures.

What I liked

I loved everything about my experience at Privy Label. Cristina did a really good job at explaining what needed to be done each day. I really enjoyed sitting in on the fittings and meetings and watching first hand what goes into starting a clothing line. I also really liked the values of the company and how they cared so much about sustainability and educating others about how the clothing industry effects the world.
