Procter is a great environment to work around and I felt I was always being surrounded by the right tools for success. Despite my young age, I felt my opinions and my leadership were always looked up to and utilized by my supervisors.
What I wish was different
I wish that staff training were more all-encompassing as the younger staff struggled to understand their roles during the summer and I had to work both day camp and resident camp in order to make sure things ran smoothly
Advice
This is a very challenging but rewarding job. I would highly recommend to anyone this opportunity to provide kids a fun experience whether it be on the farm or through normal camp activities.

What I liked
I liked the outdoor work all summer long! I also loved working with plants and animals and learning more about them. Great, tight-knit team.

I wish the pay had been slightly higher.

This job is good for people who are able to be their own boss some of the time.
