I liked how flexible the job was. I was able to take off time in advance and make up for it beforehand or after. The benefits are great. The employers care about you and treat you well.
What I wish was different
The job itself is not for me. I do not like dealing with people who are prone to be irritable or rude when they are called from the phone.
Advice
If you have a passion for improving healthcare locally, then this job is for you.

Marketing and Communications Intern
May 2019 • Omaha, NE
What I liked
I absolutely love the Marketing team. They were easy-going and fun to work with. My boss is an exceptional copy-editor and writer. Her editing and teaching style is really easy to follow along with and my writing has grown so much since I started. The team is incredibly talented and I also go to explore podcasts, videography, graphic design and social media from each of them.
What I wish was different
This was a great first internship. The only thing I can think that I wish was a little different was more creative freedom. Since this is a health-care market research firm, there are a lot of structured content, however, I still got to explore my creativity.
Advice
I would highly suggest this as a first internship opportunity. They really make you feel welcomed, included and it is very laid back.
