What I liked

Rotational internship: I got to experience many different departments (Finance, Procurement, Land Acquisitions) and gain a variety of experiences. Access to leaders: Most of my time was spent working directly under division VPs.

What I wish was different

Notice: Interviews and placement didn't occur until May, which was understandable due to the pandemic.

Advice

Study Microsoft Excel.

Tax Intern

What I liked

As an intern at Pulte's Tax Department, I had a chance to work with a team of super-smart and amazing professionals. I worked on a lot of different projects and learned a lot. I started my internship in the office and finished it working remotely because of COVID-19. I enjoyed my time at Pulte and I am thankful for all the support and encouragement that I received while working there. Great team, amazing atmosphere and lots of bundt cake:)

What I wish was different

I wish we didn't have to deal with COVID-19......

I loved the culture. The tax team were nice and really took the time to teach me new software and skills I will continue to use.

Advice

Learn as much as you can from everyone. Each person on the tax team has an abundance of experience they are always willing to share.
