Advice
Go to Columbia's career fairs! And don't just go to one of them, go to ALL of them! And if you interview with a company that likes you but, for whatever reason, can't give you the job... get creative! Negotiate! By offering up a solution, you're showing off your problem-solving skills and proving that you care enough to go the extra mile.
