I loved getting experience working with children from Pre-K to sixth grade learning to read, write, and comprehend. I was able to learn how to teach material in a way students of different ages can understand. I loved getting to celebrate my students achievements with them and work alongside their parents to help the student at home.
What I wish was different
Nothing! I am so grateful for every experience I had at The Reading Ranch.
Advice
Always cater the tutoring session to how your student learns best. The goal of every session is to help the student learn and understand more, so that they can be successful on their own. Listen to the child and be encouraging!
