What I liked

The people were very friendly and helpful. They genuinely wanted to help me learn my job and do a good job.

What I wish was different

The hours could have been better. I worked alot of late nights and wasnt able to attend events. The scheduling could have been better also. It changed around every now and then

What I liked

I loved working with different people from the community. There were lots of locals that always went to Ridley"s to shop. The best part was getting to know them and even becoming friends with a few. It really strengthened my involvement in the community.

What I wish was different

Honestly, it would have been nice if Covid-19 wasn't a thing. That was probably the biggest hurdle while working there. Everyone needs groceries, pandemic or not, and covid made it harder for us employees to keep our supply up while demand was so high, especially for that toilet paper the world ran out of at the beginning of it all.

Advice

Work hard and reap the rewards. Really. I worked my tail off which really impressed my employer. I was quick and efficient, and always seeking for the next task to do. I recommend following that. Work hard, be quick, be efficient, and always ask what is next.

What I wish was different

Well first they use actual soap to clean the floors instead of just water. Then management was all over the place and wasn't able to keep every department online.
