I liked working with the creative department and gaining experience in an advertisement field. I enjoyed working with my fellow interns and problem solving for clients and creating storyboards of possible advertising ideas. I also enjoyed presenting those ideas to department heads and receiving feedback.
What I wish was different
I wish we would have initiated ourselves sooner in order to have a more full bodied experience and I wish we would have been introduced to department heads at the beginning of the summer so we could know who to go to for questions.
Advice
Voice your ideas and ask questions. Find a department you are interested in and reach out to them for projects and experience.
