What I wish was different
Long interview process, 5-7 interviews is normal. Even though you're applying to be a recruiter, there is a good chance they're interviewing you for outside roles without telling you. They'll lead you on throughout the interview process with no intention of hiring you for an internal role. Be careful with this company and don't let them drag out your interview process for weeks at a time (they did this to myself and another person I knew who also went through the process, so it isn't uncommon). They won't get back to you by the time they say they will.
Also be aware this job is literally making phone calls all day.
