I have loved the learning opportunities provided at Ripple Effect. When I first started, I mentioned I was interested in recruiting and my manager was sure to find me projects to work on with the recruiting team. I have also had the opportunity to work directly with executive leadership within the company, which is an opportunity that is rarely available in larger businesses.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the chance to go into the office and meet some members of my team in person. I have worked with so many great individuals, it would be amazing to be able to get to know them outside of small chit chats before meetings start.
Advice
Make sure you have good time management skills especially if you are a student. Ripple gives its interns a lot of responsibility with multiple projects at once which can be a lot to juggle with school. However, I have had my manager check in and remind me frequently that school comes first and if I need to change a flexible timeline, I am able to.

What I liked
Ripple Effect was open to teaching me various aspects of Human Resources and Communications. They worked to help me gain expereince in the fields that I was interested in.
What I wish was different
While I did get expereince with HR and Communications I wish I was able to interact with the Research and Evaluation division as well just to get more experience.
Advice
Ripple Effect taught me so much that I took to college with me. For anyone who is looking to grow and willing to learn in a work environment than this would be a great place for you.

Advice
Be honest about your experience. Don't just say what you think everyone wants to hear because then you risk being lost in the crowd. Be yourself!
