The office culture was really great to be a part of and I was able to work independently on various projects under the guidance of different people in the office, so I had a really holistic experience in learning what everyone does in the office.
What I wish was different
The summer after the primary is a little slow in political fundraising, I think if I had interned during the school year I would have been exposed to different facets and been able to learn more.
Advice
The research can be a little tedious, but it is worth it for the end result since the office actually utilizes the work you do as an intern.
