Our mission is to:
- Help others broaden their perspectives as they experience other cultures
- Provide an antidote to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness
- Facilitate “broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things [which] cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” -Mark Twain
We help English-speaking adults live all around the world (in China, France, Italy, Spain, and more) in two ways.
1. Interns will stay with host families and learn about their lifestyle and culture. In exchange for free food and a place to stay, the interns will help the host family's children improve their English and teach them about American culture. The interns are paid $50-$180 per week.
2. English teachers will teach in schools throughout China (from kindergarten classes to university level students). They will receive a salary, improve their professional skills, and gain real-life, resume-building experience.
