I loved doing purposeful jobs that needed completed around the house to make stays for families more efficient. I got to meet many people, such as other volunteers and families, which made the experience worthwhile.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have volunteered more often. I live a bit far from the House so being closer would have meant more time volunteering.
Advice
Anyone can volunteer at the House and it is an organization worth giving your time to.
