Everyone was very willing to teach me on components of construction. They were supportive and willing to share their experiences.
What I wish was different
I wish the internship was more structured. It seemed that there was no layout to it and I was just trying to do my own thing to learn, as opposed to them finding ways to teach me. It was more initiative on my end.
Advice
Ask questions. Get involved in as much as possible. Know as much as you can about the project. Take notes. Don't be afraid to insert yourself into conversations, problems, tasks.
