“I really liked how applicable my projects were. I was assigned to three different projects over the summer and all three had direct impact on the company. Whether that was creating a database that engineers would use during formula changes, or helping construct a processing diagram for a new line, I was doing important work as an intern. I also loved the company culture. Everyone was extremely friendly, and I was encouraged to work with multiple other areas of the company. My mentors helped me set up meetings to learn about R&D as well as things like finance that helped me gain a better understanding of the company as a whole In addition to work life, SCJ provided an excellent experience for the interns as far as stay in Milwaukee. We were housed in the same neighborhood and often had planned events that made moving to a new city with new people really enjoyable. ”
