I loved partnering with the staff members to meet the needs of rural Andean community members in a loving and culturally respective ways. Living with a homestay family was such a great way to learn about the cultural practices and practice Spanish & Quechua.
What I wish was different
I wish students from previous years would’ve spent more time preparing this year’s team.
Advice
I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. The impact that the sweet people of Peru had on our team was far greater than anything we could’ve done for them.
