I wish I could have redone my hours to be in the student center at more popular hours

Never be afraid to try a new experience. I was nervous to take the internship but it paid off for me because I gained a lot of valuable information about myself and students around the school.

Reunion Intern

What I liked

I liked how involved I was in the multiple moving parts of planning the 2019 Reunion Weekend. I edited spreadsheets on Excel, tracked housing assignments and meal cards, helped to organize and set-up all materials needed for the weekend, answered Alumni phone calls to address questions, and ended my internship working Reunion Weekend meeting and networking with Alumni and President's Society members that all shared a common love for our hilltop.

What I wish was different

I loved my experience working in the Office of Alumni Relations. I had to learn a lot about their shared drives before I felt comfortable completing tasks by myself, but that's true with any new experience.

Advice

Don't be afraid to try new things, especially new computer programs! You will learn so much that can help you with future internships and jobs alike.

Admission Ambassador

What I liked

I enjoy the pace and the atmosphere of the admissions office and staff. Everyone in the office is eager to help and will encourage and support you. I enjoy showing family and prospective students what Saint Anselm has to offer. I do not believe my role is to sell the school. Instead, it is to present my experiences, likes, dislikes and the unique and special feature of a Saint Anselm College education. After meeting with prospective students, I hope they feel welcome and comfortable.
