I liked how I was able to learn so much about the university through this position. I got to experience a whole different side of the school and got to build meaningful connections with other students and faculty.
What I wish was different
There are long days that don't end up feeling too long, but longer breaks within the day would be nice. Other than that I loved the challenge of the job and how it pushed me out of my comfort zone when before I wouldn't have liked it.
Advice
I would say to go all in. The more you put in, the more you get out, and this is definitely a position you can get a lot out of. Take the mission at hand seriously, but have fun and this should be a job you'll want to do rather than one you're going to for money.

What I liked
It was really great to be able to live on campus for free with housing and meals included. Also was great to be able to help start a project that is making a big impact on the community.
What I wish was different
It was all really good! I could have used a cold class of water most days.
Advice
Do not be afraid to do things that have never been done before or to do things that you yourself have never done before.

What I liked
It was an interesting job that changed every day. It was also a great way of learning more about the work that goes on in theatres between productions.
What I wish was different
Less cleaning lights, seriously I could probably build a Source Four from scratch by now.
Advice
If you are a theatre major or music industry student I would reccomend it. It gives an oppertunity to learn jobs that you could likely apply to in the future.
