David Campos has the honor of representing District 9 on the Board of Supervisors. District 9 is a very special place that encompasses some of the most diverse, vibrant, and culturally rich neighborhoods in our beautiful City--the Mission, Bernal Heights, St. Mary's Park, and Portola. Traditionally a lower income neighborhood and the proud home of the City's largest Latino population, the area has been experiencing some of the most extreme gentrification in the region. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to engage with constituents and conduct policy research to help form future legislation. You will also have the chance to sit in on meetings held by the SF Board of Supervisors, which will expose you to the functions of local government.
