I gained a lot of hands on experience with a lot of different animals and I learned a lot of different technical and practical skills.
What I wish was different
Maybe a little bit more technical skill learning experiences offered, but that wasn't really practical with how many animals we cared for.
Advice
Be willing to fully dedicate yourself to this internship. It will take a physical, emotional, and mental toll on you but it is well worth it in the end.

What I liked
This internship shows you what all goes into being a Wildlife Rehabber. The staff are helpful and friendly and really want you to succeed here. Its hands on, and the clinic manager will teach mini classes during the day if the intern team finishes their work on time.

What I liked
I enjoyed being able to work hands on with wildlife. It was a great learning experience, and kept my summer exciting and full of hope and life.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have spent more hours volunteering that way I could have learned more.
Advice
Always keep and open mind, and hold your breath! There were some very ripe smells around the facility, but every new experience I had I reallly enjoyed.
