I loved the friends I made at work and all the guests (the kids and their parents) that I came in contact with.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have become a lifeguard sooner; but I will definitely be becoming one for next season.
Advice
Start out as an attendant and if you like being an attendant, stay an attendant. If you don’t like being an attendant, become a lifeguard instead.
As always, be patient and be nice as possible to all people no matter the encounter.

I love the overall environment and being able to work outside at a park I loved as a child. I now have an even stronger love and attachment to this park

Some of the training regulations and paperwork seemed inefficient

What I liked
All of the employees get along so well and you truly become a big family. There are also a lot of growth opportunities as long as little fun benefits that really are available to everyone. Although I could go on and on about all the great things about this establishment the best part is that it is seasonal and they are understanding about hours and school.
What I wish was different
Sometimes the customers can be a bit tough especially when working with children, but it comes with the territory.
Advice
One piece of advice I would give is to keep a positive attitude, small things like a smile will actually help you go really far in a short period of time.
