“I got to see how many different aspects of a museum came together to put on a successful event. Although I worked in the education department, we relied on the current exhibit to inspire our activities, utilized the work of artists and bands in the local area, and relied on marketing and social media to get the word out. It was great to see how museum departments can be interconnected and also was a great example of how to make the arts more accessible by hosting a free event.”
