What I liked

As an employee, I was on the fence about whether or not to pursue a career in sales out of college. The approach I've seen with the team, how they take care of the customers like family is the reason I started working here. The team is friendly, informative, and helps me with even the smallest requests. The way I've seen the reps treat their clients is excellent, and I strive to deliver the same high-level service to my clients as I build my career at SEI.

What I wish was different

There's not much to say about how I wish it could be different. No company is perfect for everyone, but as long as you put in the hours and show up, your work will pay off. When it comes to selling, you have to put yourself out there, and often find what works for you. Especially during training, there's a learning curve that is more tailored to learning through action. However, I believe that is the best way to find success. You've got to work hard and sell, but you're selling an easy product, radios, and the market is enormous. It's one of the best jobs out there to get your foot in the door in sales, as long as you put in the work.


Always ask, always learn, and always do. Everyone here wants to see you succeed.
