I liked the hands on experience of being able to be a part of the General Assembly and getting an up close look at the bill making/drafting process.
What I wish was different
I wish the internship was longer, but the General Assembly is only for a certain amount of days!
Advice
Network as much as possible with not only your senator, but other senators you hope to work with in the future. I met so many great people and expanded my network greatly.
